Prithviraj Chavan – Current Chief Minister of Maharashtra and a member of the Indian National Congress party. He was previously a member of the Rajya Sabha (the upper house of the India’s Parliament) and served as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences MoS in PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Parliamentary Affairs.He wrote articles on computer science; engineering design; and also contribution to research in computerization.Pritviraj Chavan Born in Sangli is married to Satvasheela. They have a daughter Ankita and a son Jai. Ankita got married on Nov 11 2010 in Delhi.
